Update Sony Vaio P

Creating a USB key boot drive
Like every good unix person, I like to run some flavor of Linux on my PC computer. So since I got the cool Vaio P, I wanted to try the lates and greates Ubuntu release. I didn’t want to trash my Windows partition or repartition everything to make some space for Linux.

Sony Vaio serie P
I got a new gadget this week. A white Vaio serie P, netbook computer, errr, Lifestyle PC as Sony calls them. It’s a 8.9 inch computer with a really great 1600x768 screen. The screen is so small that it’s sometime hard to use. When it’s sitting on a table, it’s not that bad. Else, you need to crank up the font dpi to 120 so it’s comfortable.
